On a very charming day, we were planned to visit a Water Park named Kishkindha. Its name is taken from kingdom of Bali and Sugreev(the famous character from Ramayana). But when I saw the spelling of that water park, I found that it is "Kishkinta" which makes me puzzled. We(Vikas, Vani, Shiv, Sharda & myself) discussed about this and conclude that in Tamil Language there is no scope of "Dh" and they are pronouncing "Dh" as "T" so they are also writing as same.
Yes! It was a Sunday. I didn't sleep well in the last night and I wanted to sleep some more, at least I didn't want to woke up at 8 in the morning. Only one thing make me fresh in this condition, I knew that it is not good but i felt helpless at that time. Its a Cigarette. "After shifting to my new house I left my habit to take cigarette in the morning. Previously also I wanted to quit it but it was easy to get at anytime, but here I got a chance and I took it." But on that Sunday I went to the shop and took 1 cigarette and after that I went to get ready for that water park. We all(Vikas, Shiv & me) pack our bags. Sharda came at 9:15 and Vani came after that. Cab came at 9:40 AM and we all sat in the car and our journey started towards Kishkinta Water Park.
We all got down in front of Kishkinta's main gate and went for the tickets. Its cost was 380/- for adults. I thought that Shiv may take 280/- ticket for himself, ;) but then didn't allowed. It proves that Shiv is now adult and also ready to get marry.. :D Apart from joke, we found there that it is not only water park, it is an amusement + water park. Most of the rides were included in that Rs. 380 ticket and few rides were charged separately.
We went Inside and mean while Vani took some Photographs from her Camera. "If anyone will see our photographs, they can't find any water in the water park. ;-)" We don't had any option to directly get into the water because opening time for water park was from 1 PM, so initially we opted for some rides. After so many years(last time was 1998) I had some those kind of rides. So I really enjoyed all the rides. I wanted some more adventurous ride but no rides was up to my expectation. I also had to take care of my fractured leg, so some water rides I didn't opted.
After that we went into the pool. It was really good fun to get into the water and play as much you want. Yes, I confess that it again raised my passion about swimming which I missed in the college time. I hope that very soon I will join some swimming training institute.
There was a show named "Tsunami" in the water park, which putted me into deep thought. The complete show was like this - First they created some noises like Tsunami, then suddenly one big wave came just like a Tsunami.
I was thinking like, Chennai was the only one metro which was badly affected by Tsunami, and thousands of people were died. But this is the same city where people are making money with the name of Tsunami, people are dancing on the wave of Tsunami. I think this is the world where everything is counting in money. People are pronouncing it as being more practical and professional. Only one thing you have to learn to become more practical is you should know that how to make money from the emotion of the people, but people shouldn't realize that you are making money from their emotion.
Anyway, after sometime we went out from the water and changed our cloths. Sharda called the "Call Taxi" and we came to our old place, i.e.Vadapalani to eat some nice food. Because food was not good in the Kishkinta. Mean while we got the call of Afroz, that he came back to Chennai and coming to our home with the chocolates....... :)
That's all folks........
Yes! I know that many of you may saw this pics somewhere in your mail box. But reason behind posting these pics on my blog is, today I got it from one Mexican. He is my Client Side coordinator. He is working in California but he belongs from Mexico. He never sent any forwarded mail in last one and half year and our relation is also very formal. Only official things we are talking on the phone and in the email also. But I can understand why he sent these pics to us, definitely he found some humor in this because he is a Mexican and we are Indians. :)
Lets take a look on those pics.

I encountered with this question on my Appraisal review meeting. My Boss told to me and my team member to set you own goal for social service and rate yourself on the basis of the goal. I was a bit confused. I had lots of questions about this rating. Like -
1. For doing some thing for our socity, we have to set some resolution?
2. We should do the social service only because to get promotion or good point in our professional?
3. OK! If I am doing some social activity like donating blood to anyone and not keeping any proof for that it means it is worth? In that case I shouldn't donate my blood, which will save anyone's life, if that hospital is not providing any certificate for that?
4. If we are doing any social work to get some good score in my appraisal, then is it not a selfishness?
As per me, I am doing lots of those works which gives me self satisfaction and also fall under social service. But I don't have any proof for that. The main thing is, I am not running for any certificates whatever I am doing. I don't care for this, if it is not helping in my appraisal anymore. At least it is saving one life on some day. It is giving a sweet smile on the face of a little poor girl.
What's your opinion on this?
A mother and her young inquisitive son were flying Jet Airlines from Mumbai to Delhi. The son (who had been looking out the window turned
to his mother and asked, "If dogs have baby dogs and cats have baby cats, why don't planes have baby planes?"
The mother (who couldn't think of an answer) told her son to ask the flight attendant. So the boy dutifully asked the flight attendant, "If
dogs have baby dogs and cats have baby cats, why don't planes have baby planes?"
The flight attendant responded, "Did your mother tell you to ask me that?"
The little boy admitted that she did.
"Well, then, tell your mother that there are no baby planes because Jet airways always pulls out on time. Now, let your mother explain
that to you."
While walking down the street one day a "INDIAN man" is tragically hit by a truck and dies. His soul arrives in heaven and is met by Gods angel at the entrance.
'Welcome to heaven,' says the Angel. 'Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a Good Man around these parts, you see, so we're not sure what to do with you.'
'No problem, just let me in,' says the man.
'Well, I'd like to, but I have orders from higher up. What we'll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.'
'Really, I've made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,' says the Man..
'I'm sorry, but we have our rules.'
And with that, the Angel escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are some of his friends and some Indian politicians who had died after amassing India's wealth.
Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, Shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had, while getting Rich at the expense of the people.
They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne.
Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who has a good time dancing and telling jokes. They are having such a good time that before he realizes it, it is time to go.
Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises.
The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens on heaven where the Angel is waiting for him.
'Now it's time to visit heaven.'
So, 24 hours pass with the Man joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and, before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and the Angel returns.
'Well, then, you've spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.'
The Man reflects for a minute, then he answers: 'Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.'
So the Angel escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell.
Now the doors of the elevator open and he's in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees his friends and the politicians, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above. The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulder. 'I don't understand,' stammers the Man. 'Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there's just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends and politicians look miserable. What happened?'
The devil looks at him, smiles and says, 'Yesterday we were campaigning.
Today you voted.' !!!
*Think before u vote!!!*
Yesterday(3rd May 2009) I shifted in my new house. We(my two friends and myself) shifted here because it is economically good, if you will compare it with my old house.
My old house was almost in the mid of commercial area of Chennai. Within 100 meters you can find one Big Bazar, three super market, two small shopping mall, Bus Depot, one famous theater and one very popular Tamil movie studio i.e. AVM Studio. Latter I'll write about AVM Studio.. :) But it was too much crowded. You can hear anytime vehicles horn. They were stopped only in between 2 AM to 4 AM in the night.
My new house is also in the mid of Chennai but now we are in the residential area. Now we are in K.K.Nagar(Kalaignar Karunanidhi Nagar). I was habituated for noisy environment but yesterday I didn't heard any noise from outside. And that was the only reason why I didn't slept well yesterday? Since it was my night in that house so....... ;)
